Hiking from Kosti to
Sinemoretz along the Veleka River
This is a full day outing.

After an early
breakfast at Villa Philadelphia, we begin with a scenic
drive to the village of Kosti, located in the Silkosija
Reserve, where we will disembark and
begin the trek to Sinemoretz along the right bank of the Veleka River.
Ample opportunities for exploring the variety of
flora (opportunities for field birds, waterfowl and
raptors). We will be walking at a leisurely pace
returning early evening to Sinemoretz. We will also walk by the Kings Spring as we
near our final destination of Sinemoretz. A packed
lunch will be provided en-route as well as ample bottled water.

GRADING &
FITNESS
The
walks are graded as medium and are well within the reach of anyone who enjoys an active,
outdoor life. However, to get the most out of the walking
opportunities available, the tourists should be in shape
before the arrival. A few of the offerings are all day hikes
exploring the flora and fauna of the region. All tours
begin and end in Sinemoretz and include picnic lunch and
plenty of bottled water. Walking shoes with good ankle
support is recommended! This is a 20km walk!
EQUIPMENT
Insect repellent, sunscreen, hat, binoculars and comfortable
walking shoes.
